Who We Are

We are a third generation family farm located in North-East Ohio.   Over the past years we have realized the importance of natural and local food-production.  We wanted to provide a local grass-fed beef option to those in our community, direct from the source.

Grandpa Bert, like so many Americans after the Great Depression, kept a small farm, raising cattle and growing vegetables to feed his family (and a few neighbors down on their luck).  We would like to think that by helping you feed your family with delicious, naturally raised beef, we are making him proud.

What makes us unique

  • In addition to the standard mixed-quarters offered by many farmers, we offer smaller options such as individual cuts, the Beef Box (trademark), and the Sampler Box (see ordering page)

  • We use sustainable farming practices: Our watering systems and electric fence run on solar power

  • Heritage breed cattle are varieties of cattle going back hundreds of years that have greater natural immunities and thrive better on a full grass diet. We raise heritage breed cattle in order to help maintain the biodiversity of the species
